Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add vanilla and eggs, mix until creamy.
- Gradually add flour mixture, mix until soft dough forms.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips if desired.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and don't overbake the cookies.
