Method
- Cream butter & sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg & vanilla and mix until smooth.
- Mix dry ingredients and gently stir into wet mix until dough forms.
- Chill dough for 30 mins to prevent spreading.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll dough, cut shapes, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake 8–10 mins until edges are golden. Let cool slightly.
- Devour or decorate!
Notes
Chilling the dough is crucial for preventing the cookies from spreading too thin during baking.
